Nepal enters finals of ACC U-19 Women’s Championship


Defending champions Nepal registered an 81 run win against UAE in the ACC U-19 Women's Championship 2010 cricket to again reach the finals in Singapore on Monday.

Sent to bat first by UAE, Nepal made 156 runs losing 3 wickets in the allotted 25 overs. Captain Nary Thapa was the highest scorer with 66 runs while Sarita Magar remained unbeaten on 24.

In reply, UAE could only make 75 runs losing 7 wickets in 24 overs - one over was deducted as penalty for slow over rate.
