on Monday night in connection with a bribery case.
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Tuesday afternoon presented CPN-UML lawmaker Dol Bahadur Karki and his associate Swami 1008 Brahmananda Udashin in the Special Court seeking permission to keep them in judicial custody. Karki and Udashin were rounded up on Monday evening for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs. 100,000 from a youth by assuring him a place in the Nepal Police as an Inspector. Read more......

The black-box of Dornier 228 belonging to Agni Air that crashed in Shikharapur VDC of Makwanpur last week has been found today, one week after the crash. The Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) of the plane were recovered from the impact ditch created when the aircraft dived into the ground. It was buried 15ft below the ground.
