Two arrested with explosives from Bhaktapur

Police have arrested two persons including a former Maoist combatant from Myadhpur Thimi municipality-5 in Bhaktapur Wednesday in possession of explosive materials. Those arrested have been identified as Sanu Kaji Baruwal of Sindhupalchok and Rajesh Thami of Dolakha. Acting on a tip-off that they were hiding large amount of explosives, a team of police from Bhaktapur Police Range arrested the duo this afternoon. Police recovered large amount of detonators, gelatin (used for making explosives) and other bomb-making materials from them. A letter pad belonging to Janatantrik Morcha and donation receipt were also found in their possession. It was not known for what purpose were they storing such a huge amount of explosives.
